Re: Good Morning

Evening all. Not one of my better days, coughing a lot and periods of breathlessness.  It's been a sunny day but apart from picking Gordon up haven't done much.   Done a little bit of cleaning and rearranging my kitchen gadgets. Tomorrow I'm hoping to do the window ledge I have a collection of cactii which need attention. I don't move them very often as they bite. Have to find my tough garden gloves before I start. Enjoy your evevning everyone.

Re: Good Morning

Afternoon all. A very late start for me making up for lost sleep. Well 8.22 is late for me! Just finished yesterday's washing up, knees are shaking so sitting down.  Going to sit down this afternoon and prepare veg for a slow cooker soup. Some of the veg was bought for Christmas and still looks fresh. I don't know how they do that,  probably better not to know. I've still got some unopened bread sticks left so will donate those to the lunch club. I'm officially on a diet so being good. Cooked an interesting vegetable stirfry last night. First time I've ever fried sprouts and savoy cabbage the rest of the veg was nuked in the microwave  and thrown in the wok with herbs and spices. I served it with a chicken breast cooked in my copper chef.  Nothing stuck and it was so easy to clean.   Gordon did a fillet steak in his the other day, sadly he didn't invite me to dinner! We've both decided to get rid of our grills which take a lot of cleaning to say nothing of the cupboard space they take up. Enjoy the rest of the day everybody.

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all. Jack Frost has paid us another vist everywhere is white and so cold.  Even Brodie wasn't in the garden long. Another day pottering for me. Sorted out the cupboard under the sink yesterday. Since discovering Koh I don't need most of the products. Gordon's going to be putting them on the fund raising table  at the flats. He's coming to put my wheelie bin out today it's too heavy for me to cope with. Brodie is now looking for his breakfast he's a late riser. Bless him. Good luck to your Mum Sally hope her op goes well.  Will she be in hospital long? Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Hazel Tried to put a picture on but can't.  Google  copper chef 5 minute cooker. It should give you options.

Re: Good Morning

Morning all. Same weather here, white everywhere. My car won't defrost for some time as the sun doesnt get round there til mid afternoon. Good job I don't need it today.

Good luck for your mum tomorrow Starry, I bet she enjoys her sunday lunch bless her. Thanks for best wishes Starry regards my BP. I took it this morning and it's normal. so I'm chuffed to bits. Just wish the chest pains would go, as that's a bit worrying. Could still be the side effects of the previous meds, or stress or anything, but I'm always wary of heart attacks.

Carol I've gooled and it looks quite interesting, the same as the other 5 minute cookers only copper instead of teflon or other nonstick material. I'm toying with the idae of getting an omelette maker. My egg boiler does omelttes but they're tiny little things. A couple of friends have the omelette makers and swear by them.

Not much on the list to do today. I did 3 loads of washing yesterday and got the last lot in the drier as I type. Changed the bed, and tidied up some of the hobby room.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Re: Good Morning

Hazel I would recommend the copper chef. It does nice omelettes, steaks, chops, cakes, vegetables etc. Nothing sticks and it's so easy to clean. Just make sure it has the kite marks on the bottom before you buy. On another site a Russel Hobbs slow cooker nearly burst into flames. If it had been left on overnight it could have caused a fire. As it was she was using it during day time and smelt it.
