Re: Good Morning

It's been pretty hectic here on Sunday afternoon Gordon was taken into hospital with chest pains. I had two medics in my lounge ( Hazel not in Hasmet suits) He was kept in for tests and came home yesterday with a diagnosis of acid reflux and was sent home by taxi!  He is now in his flat in isolation for two weeks with the addition of another week for the taxi.  This morning whilst tidying up I picked up what I thought was his camera bag it turned out to be something the ambulance crew had left behind. I wasn't wearing gloves when I picked it up Arrrrhhhh! I scrubbed twice and used a lot of steriliser. Fingers crossed it was virus-free. I've had nothing but phone calls all day. The lady that does my shopping flagged a concern that I'm now on my own. I've been offered a home help as I'm not able to do much these days. Perhaps when the virus is gone but not now. However, I have asked for a gardener that would be a big help. I'm so glad that all went well for Pippa and hopefully, she and her son will be going home soon.

Re: Good Morning

What lovely news Starry. Congratulations to Pippa. She could be home now.

Hope Gordon is alright at home on his own Annie. What a stressful time for you

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry here at the moment, but heavy showers are expected later.

I've got housework and some washing on the cards (washing machine is still playing all at the moment)

Paul, Maya and Lola did make it over here yesterday and we had a lovely few hours in the park. We all started off social distancing then we all fell into our normal ways and ended up having kisses and hugs. Although it was far from normal it felt more normal and we had a lovely time.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all had an awful couple of days pain-wise. I have had to take p/ks and they make me so tired I'm barely awake. I'm getting so frustrated I start a job sit down for a 5-minute rest and fall asleep. I'm halving the amount of tablets I take and see how it goes. I'd rather have pain than be fuzzy. Gordon is coping fine on his own from what he says. I suspect he'll be nodding off most of the day, His medication makes him tired. Stay safe everyone.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its damp here and still spitting.

It was steady rain all evening then lashed it down during the night. The garden will be loving it.   Just some washing to do today and an online shopping delivery and next week's shopping to do.    Only tomatoes missing from the shop this week

Lovely cuddles to look forward to Starry

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry and very windy here today.

I've got some more washing and I'll try to get out for a walk.

I've been crocheting some wider infinity scarves. I was thinking if we get to go on the bus and the windows and wide open it will be very cold, so we'll need a good scarf round our necks that we can pull up onto our heads. So now we've got a selection.

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all cold and bright here with a strong wind. Lots to do but not one of my better days so will potter and hopefully do a bit more than I did yesterday.  Gordon told me that a new man moved into a flat yesterday morning, sadly the estate manager found him dead this morning. As an ex-police officer it will be something that she has dealt with before but never the less it would have been a shock. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry here at the moment, but cloudy and showers are expected this morning, some heavy, then some very heavy rain this afternoon.

We missed our walk yesterday as the parcel didn't arrive until lunch time then it rained, so that was that.

As I'm typing, its raining on the window. Popped the heating back on again to warm us up a bit.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon, Diane, It is so cold here I'm thinking of putting the heating on. So much for flaming June! I see we're all now allowed to have a bubble with another household, you can even have a stopover. It will certainly make it easier for families, no doubt it will be abused where they have several children.  The time has come when I must cut my hair I can't stand having my fringe in my eyes any longer and the back of my neck is itching. Have a good day hope you get your walk.
