Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all. I was up early this morning as Sally my lovely shopper is delivering to me this afternoon and I had to get my kitchen ready for the production line of bleaching my shopping. She came about an hour ago.  I've got all the perishable stuff away just got a few tins and packets to do. I had to stop as my knees were so painful and I needed to eat and rest. I'm going to have to take some pain relief, it's way beyond where I can cope. m Not keen on taking them and shall be feeling very fuzzy for the rest of the day. Haven't seen Hazel for a while no doubt she's busy with her sewing machine. Gordon is coping well and the lovely Sally is doing his shopping as well as mine. Like me he's an only child so doesn't mind being on his own. I have Brodie to talk to or swear at depending on what he does. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning Diane and Sally it's bright and sunny here but with a stiff breeze keeping it cool. Hopefully, the two men didn't have any bullets in their guns. They sound like a couple of nutters.  It all happens in the village!  Have to get Miss Marple to investigate! lol. Freddie sounds delightful, hope Pippa isn't in too much pain from her op and is recovering well. I'm having a good rest today, going to sort out a huge stack of CD's which I can do sitting down.  Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all, it's a nice day here, the strong breeze is keeping it cool. Day 2 of resting, both my knees are hurting found a freezo spray which is helping a bit.  Had to laugh when I read the instructions too much can cause frostbite - it's not that cold! Nick hasn't sent me any photos of our lawn but expect it to be a couple of feet high. He has been busy laying proper roads no more giant potholes.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its very murky here although its not raining it looks like the heavens could open at any moment.

I've got the shopping delivery ad some washing to do and phone the memory nurse as we had a very bad night last night.

Hope your Mum is alright today Starry. How lovely to be hanging out those tiny clothes.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all, just lost my post! Sally hope your Mum's procedure goes well, she must get fed up with going backwards and forwards. It's good that Paul shares chauffeur duty. Nothing worse than sitting in a car whilst in a car park.  I always take a book with me, it helps the time pass.
Diane sorry to hear you had such a bad night, perhaps as you are both tired you may well nod off together. I do hope so.  My knees, although they were slightly better are still aching, the more I do the worse the pain gets. Sitting doing nothing all day is not an option for me. I need to be occupied. Going to descale my kettle boiler this afternoon - what fun! Have a good day all.
