Re: Good Morning

Evening all. Making slow progress sorting out the boxes. It's hard stressful work. I've done three bags and Gordon's sorted out the cluttered corner of my sun lounge. We've both got sore backs and in a lot of pain so tempers are a bit short. Gordon nodded off after lunch. He's overdue for his B12 injection so isn't functioning well

Re: Good Morning

Good morning all, what a miserable day. It's wet and cold, Brodie has been outside and come in smelling of wet dog, he's had rubbydubby twice so far, he loves it. We're having a days rest we're both very tired, and Gordon has done more than enough. I'm just off to the kitchen to tackle a huge pile of washing up. He did a roast last night, delicious but loads of dishes. I wash he wipes. I think and hope that Hazel is busy making masks. We're very pleased with ours.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning all, Gordon is still very tired. He's a bit late on his quarterly injections so hopefully, he'll pick up once he gets them at the end of the month. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Sounds like you've both worn yourselves out clearing out the caravan and sorting Annie. Hope you both feel perkier soon.

Yes, we have Diane. it's been incredibly stressful. Gordon is 80, although he doesn't look it, but he has a shed load of health problems, plus brain damage. He's a walking time bomb. I also have serious problems but my knees and back cause me a lot more trouble.

We've had two rest days now but don't really feel the benefit.  We've all got problems as we get older and I know you've got your husband as well. Sending you a hug ((((((((()))))))))

Re: Good Morning

Sorry, Starry, I missed your post the other day. I hope your future daughter in law feels more relaxed after she sees the midwife. it's good that the hospital is keeping an eye on your mum, hope the chemo has worked it's magic. We're still plodding on with the sorting out.  We're putting the food away that we brought back from the van. The larder is full so we've got a box of tins in the dining room. Gordons got some excess meds to take back to the flat when and if lockdown is over. We're slowly getting more space but we do still have the car to empty. It appears that freecycle is still online and taking listings. I've got a few things to list.

Re: Good Morning

Evening everyone, sorry for my absence but been snowed under with mask orders. I've replied to your pm Carol and the toggles will be in the post tomorrow 1st class.
I see you are putting your xmas decorations up Starry, I've got those little rice bulb fairy lights in both front windows and around 2 large pictures in the living room. And this week sometime my 2 light up reindeers are going outside on the front lawn. I dont think I'll bother with the christmas tree this year, the fairy lights are lovely so will just have those this year.
I did get a couple of free hours this week so far, so have been planting bulbs in the garden, front and back. Dwarf daffs and narciss as it's so windswept here, iplus iris, crocus, snowdrops and hyacinths. I have a big bag of alliums to go in the new big border at the front, but waiting on the Queen Elizabeth roses to arrive as they will go in first. I've also got some more plants that won't be here until March nxt year in the same border, and hardy geraniums. It's going to look amazing next Spring. Without the mask money it would still be grotty old lawn.
Already booked my christmas asda delivery for 22/12 and done the order lol
I didnt think I'd have Gizmo for xmas, but he's rallied round and is now on even more steroids. So he's got a reprieve.
Right, off to bed now as I've got a job to keep my eyes open here.
Stay safe everyone! xxxxx

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all, such a lovely sunny day here. It looks like it might be a good drying day. We've now got all the food sorted and the larder is immaculate. However, we're both very tired, and I've had two lousy nights running. In zombie mode now.  The smoke alarm has started to cheep in my bedroom, just hope Gordon can get it down, the one in the dining room is also still cheeping, he can't get that one down. Fingers crossed.   Have a good day all and stay safe.
