Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry but cloudy here. I got up for a comfort stop and the sky was lovely and pink. I came in to take a photo but it was already disappearing.

Woke up with a huge noise outside. The house they are renovating a couple of doors away has a generator parked outside our house on the other side of the road making an enormous noise. We decided to get up too early. Its a earth shaking noise. Shame they couldn't park it outside the house they are working on. Really grumpy now.  Was planning on a quiet day in but might have to go out to escape the noise.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Thanks Starry I feel a bit better today, which is surprising as I didnt get to sleep until gone 4.30am as I was really anxious and stressed out.  I was expecting bp to be sky high but when I took my bp it was quite low, 127/73 and 119/67.  I was amazed as I was really stressed out all night and only had about 2hrs sleep. I've read on the British Heart Foundation site that my particular bp med should be taken at night not in the morning as told by the doctor, as it helps with people whose bp doesnt drop overnight and is raised in the morning. So I planned on taking it before bed tonight, and hope it doesn't lower my bp too much so I pass out in my sleep!
To be honest I think mine's due to overweight, sedentary lifestyle and stress/anxiety/panic attacks. I think if I put myself back on the low carb diet to shift some weight and walk about a bit more then the bp would go back to normal, that's if it's not done that already.
I just wish the doctors here were better, as you never see the same one twice, they all say something different and they all mess you about with different meds or ones you shouldn't take.
So that's consuming my thoughts at the moment, what to do for the best. I remember 3yrs ago they put me on bp meds, when I had high bp but that was side effects of the meds they'd given me, which I had to come off, so when they put me on the bp meds it took my bp so low when the side effects died off it almost killed me . I don't want that happening again.

Moving on, has Pippa and her hubby thought of a name for the baby yet?
Diane hope that generator's not there long. Pffft

Re: Good Morning

The generator went mid morning thankfully. It went quieter after a couple of hours banging out really early. They might have had complaints.

At least there are steps to take yourself that could help Hazel and they are definitely worth starting while the medication is sorted. By the time the meds are sorted ... you could be on your way to sorting it yourself.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone and PINCH PUNCH FIRST OF THE MONTH.

It a bright day here today.

Maya and Lola should have been coming over but they've got colds. I'm wracking my brains trying to think when we saw them last ... not the last fortnight.

I booked a trip to Tavistock next week. Its the age Concern mini bus ... but they'll be driving a different way to the way we would go on the bus so it will be a lovely jaunt out.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its a grey day here but its still dry.

Still no Maya and Lola this weekend. They were planning on coming today if their colds weren't too bad but they've had a rotten night and are staying at home again. They obviously aren't feeling well.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning all. Damp here but not raining and very very mild again.

On the bright side Diane you won't catch their colds lol  Starry I often think I'd have been useless picking names if I had children, I'm not very good at it with my pets, I hear a name I like then look at the pet but it just doesnt suit it.
Carol hope you and Gordon are both well and have a lovely Sunday.

Not much doing here, bit fuzzy headed this morning so will be taking it easy I think although I've got lots of laundry to wash so will do that. I made a lovely beef stew for dinner last night so I've got the other half for dinner today so no cooking for me, just throw the plate in the micro and nuke it for 5mins lol

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all. Gordon Mr Muscles has come to sort out a few problems for me. We've rearranged my big wall cupboard and discarded quite a few things. He's cut up all the many boxes for the recycling bins and picked up behind Brodie. He's now got his head in my larder cleaning the shelves I can't reach. I'm not allowed up a ladder anymore! Just going to call a halt for lunch and then will hopefully finish off the raming jobs.  I've been busy in the sunlounge. I've put two large bags in the bin and I've got a whole load of stuff for the charity shop. Found some items from the caravan so the machine washing machine will be working yet again. I'm in the process of clerning prior to getting a cleaning company in it's beyond our ability.   Diane neither you nor your husband need a cold. Starry it's difficult naming children the old fashioned names are back in fashion.  Gordon and I are both knackered and taking a well earned rest with our wheat bags.

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all. A crisp day here but sunny. We did a lot of work yesterday so having to sit with a wheat bag until the muscles relax.  Just going off to the kitchen to do a bit of washing up. It's going to be a slow day for me.  Lots I could be doing but spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

A cloudy damp day here.

An early start to catch the bus to weigh in. Managed to stay dry. Caught the earlier bus back so Ive got more time before dashing out to Short Mat Bowls.
