Good Morning Starry and followers. Woke up to a lovely sunny day with a bit of a breeze. It's clouded over now but it was nice to see the sun. Brodie has had a brain storm. He's always very quiet and almost never barks. Last night he saw car headlights shining through the front door and went ballistic. He's got one heck of a bark. He was so pleased with himself. This morning a lady came to pick my breadmaker she rang the door bell and he let rip and even ran to the front door. He wasn't even breathless which was encouraging. My throat and tongue feel a bit better but I forgot to put Vick up my nose and am so bunged up and can't breathe through my nose. Gordon is coming over this afternoon to help me change the bed and put my wheelie bin out. I'm trying to do a bit more each day. I did a huge pile of washing up and stood the whole time this morning something I couldn't a few weeks ago. We're hoping to go down to the van one day this week to check it over and take a few things down with us. We haven't heard from the site owner so we're assuming no damage - maybe wrongly. Have a good day all.

Good morning ladies, lovely bright sunshine here and blue sky but I expect that can change in a heartbeat
I'm cooking the skinny turkey they sent me for Xmas today for dinner. Asda said to bin it as they didnt want it back and gave me a lovely plump one free of charge and apologised. But rather than bin it I put it in the freezer, it was a fresh one. It's not a bad size for me on my own, I expect it's about 4 or 5lb in weight, and the dogs will have the skin and other bits plus the neck, liver and heart. So they'll enjoy that!
I've still got my breadmaker but not used it for over a year, but with the possibility of a lockdown due to Coronaggedon I've started stocking up on wholemeal bread flour and yeast incase I can't get out to buy bread.
Can't get hand gel anywhere here, all the supermarkets and chemists are sold out, and online they're asking silly money. Cashing in on the emergency.
I'm making a tiny teddy today so that'll be relaxing.
Glad to hear you're feeling better Carol and able to do a bit more and good news about Brodie. Diane, hope you're feeling better today. x
Enjoy your day everyone.

Good afternoon all. Cold and sunny here. After the exertions of yesterday having a restfull day. We turned the mattress on my bed. Think big heavy mattress, small bedroom it was so difficult. But we eventually managed. A long sit down and then we tackled making the bed. Lots of bending and three duvet covers to put on. My bed was so comfortable last night - worth all the pain. I've washed the bedding and it's in the tumble dryer. Will hopefully be putting some clothes away this afternoon. My washing machine has been working overtime for the last few days.
I see you've given us all new titles please put an ex in front of mine. I'm a reformed character I like plenty of space these days. I'm in danger of becoming minamalistic thse days.

Afternoon ladies.
Carol will amend your title today.
Cold but dry today here, my cars been collected and taken to the garage for a recall and they'll bring it back at 5pm. Seems weird without it.
Done some washing today and also washed the dogs bedding, so it smells nicer for them and me lol
2 of my blueberry bushes arrived today, there's 2 more to come. I will plant them up into containers then this week. Can't wait to have my own blueberries.

Good morning all. A lovely sunny day but chilly. I've just finished a mountain of washing and wiping up so having a well earned rest. The coffee machine is on it's final rinse and is going down to the caravan ready for the summer. That's if we survive the current plague. As someone who has breathing problems and a poor immune system I'm not very hopeful, but who knows. Perhaps we will all get the mild version and be safe and well. I'm now putting it behind me, what will be will be.
Moving swiftly on I spent part of last night when I couldn't sleep, identifying what things I will be getting rid of. Once I've had my desktop wiped it will be off to the tip. The monitor will be sold, as well as the desk and computer chair. I've listed a load of items on market place if they don't sell they're going to the cat and rabbit charity shop in the village. I'm liking the extra space and have no desire to fill it. Gordon is also discarding loads of things.

Feeling loads better today. I was up in the night getting some cereal so some food has helped as well.
I felt much perkier this morning so after the window cleaner called at 9 and hubby was running round like a headless chicken (I left him to it) and then we had a cup of tea and I got up and had some breakfast and then sorted himself out into stripping the bed and went into the shower. So the freshest I've been since I don't know when. Sorted him into the shower and he's searching for fresh clothes now.

Good morning ladies
So glad to hear you're a lot better Diane and eating will build you up now.
I'm waiting on some compost and coir being delivered today that I bought on Amazon yesterday. 2 x 60L bags of ericaceous compost and 1 25L coir. I bought some plant bags the other day to use as containers rather than plastic ones. They're made from recycled and woven plastic bags and have handles so they're easy to move around. I will put my 4 new blueberry plants in those this week, plus my tomato and cucumber plants when the time is right for them. Last night I bought 3 lovely big rhubarb crowns from a commercial grower in Anglesey, 3 crowns for £10 plus postage. They will go in the fabric containers too. So I'll have a nice selection of fruit this year, although won't be very much as they're new plants.
I should have gone to my dentist today for a routine checkup but cancelled the appointment and they made another in July for me, they said they were advising their over 60 clients to delay until summer anyway. I was worried incase I lost my place on their books, as they are a great NHS surgery.
I am wondering whether to cancel my hospital appointment towards the end of the month, for the ultrasound on that lump I have in my side. I've had it a couple of years and it's still the same size so I dont think its anything to worry about, and the doctor only made a routine appointment for a scan, I think if it was anything serious I'd have gone in for one sooner. So not too worried about cancelling that.
Carol they say everyone over 60 is a high risk, so there will be lots of us in the same boat. All you can do is stay away from crowded places and keep a good stock of food and necessities indoors. I would think your club lunches are a hive of infection, so maybe not go to those would be a good idea.
On that cheery note I am about to start making another needle felted tiny teddy.
Take care everyone. xxx

Morning all. A frustrating morning I lost my internet connection. The hub just stopped working, probably something to do with talktalk. It eventually corrected itself.
When I woke up this morning knees and back were aching so knew it was going to be wet today. I let Brodie out and it was dry just looked out and it was raining. So will have yet another day indoors finding things to discard. i get a sense of satisfaction with each item that goes. I'm even going to be discarding a lot of my Mum's things that I don't need. She's been dead alnost 21 years about time I let go. Unfortunately nothing of value so it will go to a charity shop.
I've got a delivery from asda coming tonight God only knows where it will go. I have this problem every time I do a delivery and somehow it always fits somwhere. It will take me several days no doubt.
My vet sent all her clients an email re pets carrying or suffering from the CV. No risk at all so that's one thing not to worry about. Apparently bats carry it but no evidence it will cross the barrier..
Hazel I would imagine Brendon care will close the club down. We've already decided that we will stop going if the virus becomes more wide spread. I've also suggested that Gordon consider staying with me as he lives in a complex of 50 flats. Once one person gets it will sweep the building. He's got to make that decision before the virus reaches the flats. If he doesn't do it in time he will have to stay there. I don't know if it is true but the NHS is restricting dentists to 100 mask a day. That wont go far in a big practice. I've got a check up in a couple of weeks so may cancel it.
Diane glad to see you're up and around. Starry enjoy the coffee morning.

Yes Carol, Gordon will have to realise once the virus gets more widespread and someone in his block gets it, the whole place will be locked down probably, or should be. It would be better for both of you to live at your place, if one gets ill the other one is there for support. Infact he'd be better off moving in now rather than wait, because there's lots of people walking around with no symptoms and spreading it about.
I learnt today there are 2 strains of Coronavirus. One milder one and one virilant one. As the virus has mutated. That will hold up the progress getting a vaccine up and running.
