Good afternoon all having the day from hell pain-wise. We had a long day going back and forth can hardly move today. We finally left the site at 2200 and got home about 23.30. It was a slow drive as the car was heavily laden and the roads were quite busy. After we finished a friend came along and said when he gives up he's just walking away - oh how I wish that we had done that! We left quite a lot mind and shed is piled high. We didn't have time to clean the van. Gordon has slept from, 0100 to 1155, he's busy making his breakfast, The car is full and likely to remain so as I struggle to find space. Lockdown has come at the wrong time for us.

Good morning all, a lovely sunny but crisp day here. My back is a little better but once I get working it won't last long. Unfortunately, we have a pile of tins from the van to put away, no idea where it will go. It might go in the airing cupboard. Gordon is also suffering so we might both have a pottering day. Have a good day all.

Good Morning all. What a horrible day dull and overcast. My aches and pains are thankfully easing. However, my bungalow is very cluttered with all the things we brought home. Still haven't emptied the car! It's a bit of a nightmare Gordon just dumped it everywhere apart from the bathroom! It's a nightmare and really getting me down. It would be better if the charity shops were still open so I could give it away. I sorted out the kitchen yesterday, Gordon cooked last night and it's littered this morning. He doesn't put anything away behind him and as for stacking the dirty dishes - forget it! Have a good day all and stay safe.

Good morning everyone.
It was a foggy start but that cleared to just a grey day but the sun is peeping out now.
I've just been out the front hanging some Christmas lights on the shrubs wondering whether to turn them on today. When we were out with Paul and Hannah last week I saw two houses with lights outside and it looked so cheerful that I thought I would join in.
I'm not getting any break Starry. Its got to me the brink now. Chatting to someone who said I had carers burnout they asked what would help and I said hubby going somewhere for a morning/afternoon/day to give me the house to myself to just be and they said because of Covid that's not going to happen. I also mentioned to the memory nurse that I need a break and he said because of Covid!! So the bucks stops with me. I'm totally fed up with it and I'm feeling very stressed. I'm not the only one in that situation.
Then I saw a YouTube video of a nurse in Truro hospital standing in front of Truro cathedral with a loudspeaker saying she is resigning her job as she feels the truth needs to be heard that there are only three patients in Truro hospital with Covid. She has no axe to grind, no political party but is prepared to lose her job. Who do you believe now.
Because of Covid is the standard response now ... but I've got no-one to say it to. If I was having a grave I would have it put on there!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation, Diane. Have a word with your doctor and let him know you're at breaking point he may be able to help.. If nothing else he might be able to give your husband sedatives so that you can have a few precious hours to yourself, whilst he sleeps.

Good morning all dull and overcast here, a bit like me didn't have a good night. It's Sally day today, so trying to think about what we need. Gordon suggests Magnums, haven't had room in the freezer for three weeks so he's feeling deprived. We brought quite a lot of food home from the caravan so I think he may be unlucky again. Have a good day all.

Good Morning all. Another bad night for me. I got lost in my book and read into the small wee hours. Then woke up several times before admitting defeat at 6.15. I'm like a zombie this morning. I think we're going to be tackling the dining room this morning. We'll see if we can make better use of the space and get more in there. A vain hope I fear but got to try! Have a good day all.

Good morning all. Woke up to a red sky this morning so it's going to be a wet one today. I've got a mountain of washing up to tackle this morning, so that's my first task of the day. Gordon and Brodie and both still sleeping. I do enjoy my "me" time with a cup of coffee. Sorry to hear about the covid cases in the village Starry hope everyone makes a good recovery. We didn't go in to the village at all this year but shielded in the caravan. We did sit in the garden and spoke to the few people who went by but hardly anyone was there and no one was wearing masks. Have a good day.

Good morning everyone.
Its very dark and cloudy here but not raining yet.
The cleaners are coming mid day and we'll try and squeeze a walk in.
Good news about the vaccine and hopefully it could mean a return to a more normal life. I had begun to think that this was it forever and ever.
