Evening all, An early start for me today. It was the lunch club Christmas dinner today, another excellent meal, and very good company. We were entertained by the the creche/nursery. The young children performed a first nativity. Mums had been very busy sewing costumes. The youngsters were so earnest and had been told to shout out by the nursery staff. They followed instructions and it was deafening. One little girl was totally over whelmed, didn't shout out and just stood looking at us. However she redeemed herself with her dancing. One of the angels picked her nose. The "baby" was handed to Mary by an angel she threw the doll into a small crib - just as well it wasn't real. The two wise men threw their gifts into the crib on top of the baby. We all enjoyed it. The children were delighted with the chocolate they were given as a thank you. ASDA delivery arrived nearly an hour early, halfway through the delivery man said he was going home after he'd unloaded as he was ill with a virus and was going home to bed. I just hope I don't get his bug. I've managed to get half the shopping away no idea yet where the rest will go. There's always the caravan if push comes to shove.

Hello everyone. A wet day here again today with some dry patches. Had a busy day. Wanted to try to start having a good dust round before maybe putting up some ornaments and then the Sainsburys shopping arrived. In between trying to get hubby to get ready to go out this afternoon and find hat gloves and scarf to keep him warm enough. My throat is very sore and I'm very croaky. So sorted out one room dusted, sorted out Sainsburys delivery. Gave up on hubby. I make sure he had gloves in his coat pocket and he moves them and hides them so no one knows where they are. Well. I give up and he can be cold then. I'm out of sympathy. Went out this afternoon to the Memory Cafe Christmas Service and couldn't sing as my throat was too sore but I was there in body, if not in spirit. So back home and out of steam.

Evening all another busy day. It was wet and horrible so I took Gordon to the polling station and then drove to my polling station having both voted we went back to mine and Gordon helped me put the rest of the ASDA order away. Whilst sorting out the cupboard I came across my breadmaker large and heavy and very rarely used. I decided it can go as I needed the space. I shall put that on marketplace if I don't sell it I'll give it to a charity shop. In the space it took up I put my electric pressure cooker and two slow cookers. Just got to find a home for some Christmas things and that's the ASDA order all away. Wont need to go shopping for about three months. I also managed to clear two boxes from my dining room. Progress has been made at last.

Good morning everyone. Its dry bright and breezy here today. I'll catch up on the washing that I didn't get round to yesterday. Not feeling so good today. Had a cup of tea and went to bed yesterday. Dozed through the night and even forgot about the election. At least my throat isn't so sore today.

Good morning everyone. Its dry and windy here today. I'm feeling slightly better. I had a very quiet day yesterday, getting up for a bit, nipping back to bed for a snooze. Looking forward to the Strictly Final tonight.

Good afternoon everyone, sorry for being AWOL for a few days, well a week. eeeek.
The second craft fair I had last Sunday was also a flop. But I've had a lot of orders on my online shop and Twitter so that's made up for it. My pocket teddy bears are very popular and not expensive, I'm glad I decided to make those.
I have put my xmas tree up, it's over 20yrs old now and still looks like new. Its a fibre optic one but I still decorate it as they tend to look so bare if left as they are.
Diane you're very lucky to get Morrisons to deliver, I suppose that's because you're quite close to the store. They won't deliver here even though the vans go straight past. I've got some money on my More card from the fiasco of last Christmas food to order cock up so will have to go into the Bodmin store to use it.
George is coming over for Christmas again this year, he goes back christmas night and then back again in the morning. There's nowhere here for him to stay overnight as the hobby room is so full of stuff you couldn't swing a cat in there. I've done the Christmas order from Asda and that will be delivered on 23rd in the afternoon, then if anything's not in stock I can nip out and get it elsewhere. I've just had my weekly delivery from them, and ended up with 2 tubs of Celebrations for some reason. I checked online incase I had mistakenly ordered 2 but hadn't, so someone will be without theirs this week. I ordered a tub this week as they're usually sold out nearer Christmas. I wondered whether to take it into the store in Bodmin when I go in next, but I don't think Asda will go bankrupt over one tub of chocolates so I'm going to keep schtum.
Busy making more needlefelted pocket bears this weekend, that'll keep me occupied.
Enjoy your day ladies.

Hazel. The Morrison’s van came from Redruth. I couldn’t believe it. Try it again and see if they deliver to you

Well I never! You know I only tried a couple of weeks ago, if that, and it said they didnt deliver to my area.
I logged in and checked my points from last year and then tried to book a delivery and it worked! It's not very frequent like Asda but it's a couple of times every day. Its like Asda where you have to spend £40 for a delivery so seeing as I've only got a tenner in vouchers I might as well go in to the store in Bodmin and get something but it's handy to know for the future. Thank you!

It was the first Morrison’s van I’d ever seen. The driver said it was a brand new service. There is a code for the first online shop. Someone told me and I didn’t totally believe it but went on and booked a delivery and did a shop.

Afternoon all. Not feeling too good today had a gippy tummy so couldn't go out for breakfast with Gordon, his daughter and son in law. Gordon hadn't booked so they ended up at Hill head. It was a set breakfast but large, it even defeated Don who has a good appetite. They came back to see me although as requested they kept their distance. They kindly got me a birthday present and card - a couple of days late but never mind I know how busy they are. I had a lovely birthday I was thoroughly spoilt with nice gifts and a lovely meal at our favourite eatery. They even gave me a delicious chocolate cake with candles to blow out - phew that's a lot of candles! Then it was back home to find that a friend had left me a very decent bottle of wine. Yesterday we went out for lunch and met a very nice couple, we chatted for few hours and am looking forward to seeing them again next week. It's very cold here today brr winter is here.
