Good afternoon all, Feeling very tired, I'm sleeping like a log but not having my cup of strong coffee, I take ages to wake up properly. I've lost 4 1/2lbs so far, so a reasonable start to the diet. We took a carload of unwanted items down to the flat. So we've got a bit more space. I've identified several items to go in the car this afternoon. Sally, my shopper got almost all my order no 3 bird roast, joint of pork or turkey, but she did get me a frozen large chicken breast in its tray which you can cook from frozen. That will be for Christmas Day and the beef will be Boxing Day. Everything else is in the fridge or the freezer. We'll prep the veg on 24th and keep it in the sun lounge in water.
We've now filled the car with another load of stuff for the flat. We've moved some of the boxes in the lounge into a corner, so we now have a lot more room to move around, and it's quite cheered me up. As usual, Gordon knows best about how to pack. I smile sweetly and let him get on with it. He did accept some of my suggestions as I knew he would eventually.

Good afternoon all, It's a lovely sunny, but cold day. We've now taken 3 loads down to the flat and have another loaded, Unfortunately, Gordon' knee is very painful so that's it until lockdown finishes. God only knows when that will be.
The situation with the virus is worrying, it's now out of control, hopefully, the vaccine will work when we get it. they've started the vaccine injections here My neighbour was called because 9 people had, failed to turn up, if they didn't use it then it wasted so they just ring. Gordon had a phone call from a nearby surgery yesterday but he'd left his phone in the car so missed it. My shopper managed to get all but two items of my Christmas stuff. For the third week running there has been no three bird roast. She managed to get me a frozen chick breast roast. You cook it from frozen in its own tin, so nice and easy. We're prepping the veg tonight. Merry Christmas all.

Evening all, It's been a lovely sunny day here but very cold with a stiff breeze. We've been busy sorting out boxes and tidying up. We've identified a few things that I no longer need and they are on their way to the car It's looking a lot better and more like my home. Gordon sorted out the Christmas food and then put everything away, so now don't know where anything is. We've got too many goodies which he decided to put on a small table. I think he wanted to put it alongside his chair. but it's in the dining room in our newly cleared space. Since I started my diet my blood pressure has come down, and twice it's been in the normal range. I'm fine as long as Gordon doesn't get into a paddy and have a temper tantrum. I'm getting better at ignoring him when he does.
Sally, Hope you got my message about Christmas cards on Facebook. Still can't get near them.
Happy Christmas all.

Good afternoon. We had a lovely peaceful day yesterday. We shared the cooking I did the meat, roasties, and the trimmings. Gordon did the preparation and cooked the vegetables. For once we didn't get in each other's way. We both excelled ourselves and the meal was delicious. We ate the lot so no bubble and squeak today. I was on my feet far too long and am paying for it today can barely stand. We had a delightful surprise yesterday morning. We were visited by two of Santa's elves who delivered two large boxes of goodies, treats and gifts for each of us. We've been told that at the bottom of the box is a complete Christmas Dinner from Parsley box and two small bottles of wine. Which was a nice thought but we're not keen on Parsley Box and don't like their meals or wine. Have a good boxing day.

Good evening all, Starry I was lying awake last night feeling thankful that was not in the caravan. It would have been rocking and creaking all night and bitterly cold. My wheelie bin had smashed into my car and was wedged between gates and car. Gordon says no damage. I've spent the afternoon wishing my dishwasher wasn't full. How two people can make so much washing up eludes me? I set too and have washed all the plates and chopping boards. The cutlery is in soak and will be done next. That leaves all the cups, glasses etc, etc, etc. Christmas Day and being on my feet for too long meant that I had to sit for most of Boxing Day. There was not a lot on TV and I was thoroughly bored. Gordon spent most of the day snoozing in his chair with the odd snore or snort. Back into the kitchen for me as sleeping beauty has finished the 1st instalment of the washing up.

Good morning all, another cold one. Starry, Boris is still faffing around giving advice when he needs to impose rules backed up by law. Some people will be doing just what they want tonight and there will be another rise in cases. I pity anyone working for the NHS, they put their lives at risk to help idiots who won't help themselves and don't mind spreading the virus and maybe killing people. We're doing some much-needed chores today. have a good day all.

Good morning everyone.
We have snow round us and road chaos too.
I've started taking down some decorations. What a weird Christmas it was. 2020 has been a year to remember for all the wrong reasons and 2021 could be no better the way things are going............
We've gone from Tier 1 to Tier 3 in days
I wish you all a happy New Year as it can be for you and stay safe
