Re: Good Morning

Diane Bodmin Hospital is much handier and easier for you isn't it. Sounds like they really are doing all they can too which is encouraging. The smart meters will make life a lot easier, or should do if they work properly, I'm still waiting for EDF to sort mine out, they're blaming covid for not having sorted it yet. What that has to do with it is anyone's guess.

I was exactly like you once the adrenaline had died down a bit it's natural to feel jittery and unable to relax or sleep. You're body is getting used to living stress free, or relatively stress free.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

A lovely day here but feeling a bit chilly.

Paul is coming over today and I've got to drop two more sets of clothes off at the hospital            and let them take a copy of the POAs.  The cleaner is coming too. Then I'll nip in the shop on the way back a grab a couple of bits.

Had a Zoom Sound Therapy session with the WI last night and felt like I've had a   good rest.  I heard the start of the session and the end but not sure what happen in the middle.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone. Another dry one here thank goodness. I connected up the robot mower the other day, repaired the boundary wire that the dogs had dug and broken, and he went out yesterday afternoon to do his first cut of the year. I am so thankful I got that mower, it has saved me so much work and money.

Well almost a week since my jab and not had any problems, no headaches, aches and pains, dizziness, or flue symptoms. Which is great! All that worry about side effects was all for nothing.

The housing association sent me an email to say they are coming monday morning with the top honcho from Kier Construction and the landworks team chap to re-assess my garden. Typical it's been a dry few days before, but I had sent photos of the garden under water so they know how bad it is. Let's hope they actually do something constructive to stop the flooding.

Not much on the books today, so a lazy day. My malt is coming from Amazon for my malted granary bread I make, it tastes super with malt in it. I'm getting addicted. Not much good for the waisteline but who cares. I've also got another tv stick coming. I have the latest one on my big tv in the lounge, and in the bedroom I had one thats about 4 yrs old and its really slow loading Disney+ and some of the other apps, so I've ordered the latest stick which should load them a lot faster.

Zoom can be a bit unreliable at times Diane, I have regular zoom meets with different twitter groups and there's always someone who has problems though no fault of their own.

Enjoy your day ladies! Keep safe. xxx

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon, a lovely sunny day here but very cold. I've done a few minor chores and am spending the rest of the afternoon cleaning and sorting another couple of bin liners full of shoes. Hopefully, there will be a few more to bin, can't recycle them as the local bins are all sealed. Gordon had a bad night so has slept most of the morning. He did lunch and is now doing a couple of chores no doubt he will go back to his chair and sleep.  Just wish I could, but I can't.
Starry see you've been busy painting. Hazel Good luck with the housing association and your garden.
let's hope they sort it out. Diane, how are you feeling now?

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone. Another bright day but its very cold outside -2.7. I'm got a quiet day and not expecting any phone calls. Plans to make a stew with some tinned steak, so nice and easy. I had another good nights sleep and its so wonderful to feel human again and more like me. I've got some new sheets arrived yesterday and I'm just giving them a quick wash and they'll be able to go outside to dry. There is a Buddhist Meditation at 10 on the Wi Wanderers page, so will join that too.

I went to Plymouth on the bus yesterday and walked up round the Hoe and we've been wanting to do that since the first lockdown, but Plymouth rates of infection were so high, we dare not go. So it was lovely to get out of the house and away from the phone for a long time and do something that Ive wanted to do ... gosh ... for a year now!!! How crazy is that??

Paul saw Maya and Lola on Monday Starry. I was tracking him (as we allow locations so we can see where we both are) so I could tell him about hubby and he was at Helston taking down a shed and bringing it back and I thought I'll grab him when he is in Newquay to see he was at Maya and Lola's house and as it had been so long since he'd seen them, November I think for him and October for us, I didn't want to spoil it so waited until he got back before I phoned him.  Maya has won a scholarship into a boarding school in Surrey/Sussex .. can't remember off hand and Shelley wanted him to sign the papers so she very graciously allowed him to see them!!!!! @£*(@*$*@!!!!!! He is picking them up from school on Tuesday and he will collect me so I can see them too which I can't wait to give them a hug.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning ladies. Another lovely sunny day here. The men are coming this after to discuss what they're going to do about my flooding problem. I hope they agree to do something, but typical we've had almost a week of fine dry weather, so they won't see it in all it's glory.

Waiting to see 'the interview' this evening with Harry and Meghan, the news is full of it after snippets were shown from when it was aired on US tv yesterday, and American's being American's (gullible) they've sided with Meghan and her clever use of the racist card. I find it shocking  that they've slagged off everyone of the RF and yet no questions were asked about her dysfunctional family. Talk about one sided. And the fact they were already married when the state wedding took place was another shock. They'd married 3 days before it and the Archbiship of Canterbury presided in their back garden. What a piece of work those 2 are. I can't stand either of them I'm afraid.

They've done more to stir up racism and hatred in this country than anyone else in history. I'd watch a body language expert on youtube, a proper qualified one, and after watching excerpts of the interview snippets showed how her body language is typical of someone not telling the truth. What is wrong with dozy Harry? But going on experience, my brother was the same when he picked up with my SIL (they never married). She could tell him black was white and he'd believe her over family. She was an evil money mad woman too and treated him dreadfully except he couldn't see it. Talk about brainwashed. I think Harry is the same with Meghan.

Right I'm off to make a couple of masks now so will say Happy Monday and enjoy your day! Stay safe!

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all. Hazel, I can't stand Megan she's an actress playing a part with her own agenda. I didn't see the interview,  I had a feeling that Megan would present herself as the injured party.  I read an article by one of the royal reporters who said that the Queen did everything to help her settle in. Charles even stood in for her father at the wedding.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Hope the men could do something about your garden Hazel. They know the weather forecast surely and that its been dry for a good bit.

Good news about your mother Starry.

I recorded the interview and will have a little visit. She's really shown her true colours now.

Paul is coming over to pick me up and we are picking Maya and Lola up from school.

Re: Good Morning

Evening ladies. Well the garden's going to be sorted, at long last, only taken them 7yrs. Lets hope it works. Lots of trenches and soakaways going to be done the garden will look a right mess. But hopefully if it works it'll be worth it.

I watched the megan thing on telly and its exactly as we all thought, carefully reheared and acted by meghan and harry as thick as ever and totally brainwashed by her. She told a few lies but the Americans all fell for them and so believe her. I dont envy the palace having to make a statement and try and calm things over.

i'm glad they (the royals) haven't rushed into saying anything in reply to the accusations.

The electrician came today and fitted my non return wotsit I'd bought for the extractor fan to stop the wind blowing into the living room. I cut out som masks ready to sew up tomorrow. They're summer ones, so lighter and more comfy for the hot weather but still giving 95% filtration.

Good news about your mum Starry.

Now going to feed the dogs and Lily and myself. Hope you all had a good day.
