Good Morning all and what a chilly one. Gordon is coming over for a couple of days r&r he thinks. I've got a list of things he's been promising to do, no time like the present! Lunch is organised and will be making a trifle this afternoon. Sorry to hear that your Mum's bladder cancer is back Starry. Palative care is probably the kindest option at her age. I'll be glad to see the back of this year, hoping for better things next year. Have a good day all.

Good morning and PINCH PUNCH FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH 2020.
Its a damp day here but not actually raining I don't think.
I heard a few fireworks going off at midnight.

Good morning and a Happy New Year to you all, a damp one at that too!
We had fireworks going off about 6pm last night then it went quiet, then at midnight everyone seemed to have them, not on this road though thank goodness bah humbug! 
Then at 1am my nutty neighbour was outside in his garden with a young lad firing a rifle, not quite sure if its a ball bearing or air rifle but I wouldnt have thought he was suitable to own a gun with his mentality and anger issues. Maybe he had it for xmas or the lad did. His partner has a son who's late teens early twenties so maybe it's his. He doesn't live there thank goodness.
Well all my decorations came down yesterday so dont have to bother with all that palava. I sorted out all the tatty ones and a lot that I'd not put out went in the bin. Freed up some space thank goodness.
I have to empty my car out today, probably this afternoon sometime, as it's going to the garage tomorrow and I pick my new (to me) one up at 3pm. I am so excited. Daft really.
I had some nice cards from my Twitter friends and a few electronic ones, didn't get one from George this year but he did send me a text wishing me a happy birthday last night.

Evening all. A damp day here and cold. Gordon so far has managed to avoid all the work that is outstanding. Today he's been dozing. This morning I suggested we go out for a short walk along the prom with Brodie. It was very cold down ther but blew the cobwebs away. We then went back to our favourite country pub and had dinner Came home and decided on a portion of my trifle it was delicious, very moreish. Gordon says he will set his alarm and tomorrow we will tackle some jobs. Fingers crossed.
