Good Morning all. Not feeling great, a bit puffy again. I rather think I'd better get used to it as my new norm. I've got a huge pile of dishes to wash a lot of which will be going to a charity shop.  I've now got half a big cupboard free! Gordon is going out into the garden to put up a bird table that I've had mooching in my shed for a few years. I have a feeling there might even be another one in the depths. Can't help wondering how many pieces will be missing or what problems he'll run into. Have a good day all.

Its a dry day here but cloudy.

We had a good trip out yesterday although it drizzled on an off all day. We dodged the showers. Just caught the bus back by the skin of our teeth. The driver had shut the doors and was just driving off. They've started a new schedule either this month or last month and the bus is supposed to leave at 45 minutes past the hour. I double/treble checked  ... but the driver is still working on the old timetable?? Usually we would be at the bus stop early enough to cope with it.

A normal Monday here. Its Short Mat bowls this afternoon. Not sure if I have the energy to go or not. I've decided to go back to weigh in in a couple of weeks time .. 20th I think.  That's the plan and gives me a bit more quiet time.

Good afternoon all. 

It's brightened up now, its been an awful wet drizzly day here. Got a nice surprise from my car insurance, I've got £51 refund to come. I noticed they'd put the wrong model on my certificate, so when I rang up they changed that and reassessed the policy and terms and said I'd paid too much. Bargin! So it's only £20 more than the Cactus now instead of £70 odd.

Tidying up today and doing some hoovering. I hate hoovering because Dora goes absolutely beserk, I have to put her in her crate and she grabs her mattress and shakes it and bites the bars to get out at the hoover. If I shut her outdoors she barks and barks to get in at it and I'm always afraid the nutty neighbour will kick off then. Maybe I should get one of those power cordless ones, then she can't do any harm if she attacks it, but I'm always frightened of her biting through the cable and electrocuting herself. Daft dog. 

 

Evening all. Had my blood test this morning the results will be in by the end of the week - perhaps! Had to delay x-ray I'm having a drop in  one rather than an appointment. The Doc has got to send paper work, fingers crossed she remembers.  She forgot to put my thyroid and kidney blood tests on.
