It has been a busy day , we half  listened to the budget , my son is not happy quite a few things will have an effect on his company  in a bad way.
Freddie has just been round, we made some chocolate Halloween witches hats and some monster cakes. I am just waiting to take my my mother to the Dr  , she had a carcinoma removed from her face last Friday, it is a very deep wound and has started bleeding again  , I also think she may have an infection so the receptionist has squeezed her in at the end of the nurses clinic so they can check her out.
It has been another dry day but no sign of the man coming to cut my two trees back , I hope he comes this week as is staying dry until Sunday .

Good morning , it is a very warm but very dreary day, I hope the tree man turns up today , I did see him walk past last night  on his way to the beach, he took a quick look at the bigger tree so at least he has not forgotten but the surf is good today so he might go surfing first .
I made about 30 pipe cleaner spiders and have hung them over the front door porch , Freddie is coming round later so he will be pleased, I used to do a lot for Halloween but all the children down our  road are adults now and we have no children in the road anymore.

Good morning a very grey day, the man cutting back my trees did go surfing but is coming Monday afternoon whatever the surf is like.  
Not sure what to do today , I can't go far because of my mother but I would like to do something  to get out the house for a couple of hours . Halloween was lovely this year , so many little children all dressed up  and all very polite , I think it was the busiest Halloween for years , the village looked like a film set with so many witches and monsters walking around.

Well this is weird. I posted on here yesterday evening and the post isn't here. I know I clicked 'post reply' How odd.

Went to lunch today with Jackie, Chloe and Suzanne. Suzanne really isn't good at all and very very confused.  I don't think we'll be repeating the exercise anytime soon.

I've just ordered a new wool duvet, a double. I have a kingsize but it's far too big and difficult to handle when taking out and putting into a cover and too big to air on the rotary line so it's been rolled up and wrapped up on top of a wardrobe for the last 2 yrs. I was pondering getting a smaller one for ages so today I took the plunge and ordered one from The Wool Room where I got the king size one. They're supposed to be the best and a UK family run farm and business. 

I've not seen the John Lewis ad yet, I did see ASDA's and thought it was dire.  Just watched John Lewis one, talk about depressing lol
