Good morning everyone.
Its another beautiful day outside.
What to do???? Decisions decisions.
Hope today is calmer for you Starry. No ... there is no respite at all. Everything has shut down, quite rightly. After I was ill I was hoping to get a day care place somewhere, but that's gone by the board now

Good morning ladies.
STarry thank goodness Pippa doesn't have the virus and good news her husband is probably clear. What confusing advice from the NHS though.
All good here, I've put my 2 tomato greenhouses together this morning ready and fixed them to the fence so they don't blow over as they're a bit light and the wind would take them. They won't get any morning sun but they'll get all the afternoon sun. I can't put them where I wanted as its just too blowey. So the runner beans will be there instead.
I managed to book an online shop, 13th April was the soonest. But i'm ok for most things, its just a small shop and a bit extra pet food. So I dont mind waiting, but I see things like milk is even out of stock.
Keep safe everyone! Sending love and prayers xxxx

Good morning ladies
Another beautiful day here. Thank God we are in lockdown. It's a relief to say the least. It's not really any hardship not to go out when you think of the alternative.
I was busy in the garden all morning. I put my 2 tomatoe greenhouses together and put them in position ready for when the plants go in them. My nasty neighbour was on his shed roof. He has cladded the shed with planks and is now putting a corrugated steel roof on it over the existing one. Except he's put it on the wrong way with the ridges going from side to side. Anyway he saw me in the garden and called across saying what a lovely day it was, and was quite chatty and friendly. He said he is off work for a week, so was getting on and doing some jobs around his home. I was gobsmacked he was friendly, and wonder what he's up to becuase the last time he was chatty was after he'd reported me to the housing association for putting my veranda on the back. Maybe it's just that the virus has made him more friendly, who knows.
Not got a lot planned today, my bags of compost didnt arrive, no word from DPD but Amazon apologised the delivery has been held up. It's now scheduled for anytime between now and friday. I expect the couriers are extra busy now.
Enjoy your day my friends xxx

Good morning everyone.
Its looks like its going to be another lovely day today.
We are going to get out for our walk later.
I received an e-mail from Sainsburys to say I'd been identified as a priority customer and would receive an e-mail when shopping slots were available. Oh yea thought I. But when I checked my e-mails when I woke up, there was another e-mail from them saying slots were available. When I checked there were slots for tomorrow. So I grabbed a slot and it said check out before 9 so I jumped out of bed and got onto the computer and did my shop. Goodness only knows what I've got as I was in a sleepy fuddle, But something will come. Then back to bed after I'd checked out. Laying there explaining to hubby what was going on and the phone went and it was Paul phoning to have a chat!! So gave up and got up after the phone call. Nice to chat to him. You know what. People will be talking more after this, hopefully they won't forget!!
Nice that your neighbour was chatting Hazel.

You were lucky to get an email from Sainsbury. I have an account with them and didnt get one, and can't register for home delivery as they say they aren't delivering here anymore.
Asda's website is down so I can't amend my order on there... pffft.. I've got til 4th April to amend the order so hopefully it will be up and working by then.

Maybe pop into your Sainsbury’s account and check your details. They said they knew my age so I must have put it in sometime

Sainsbury's
Hi Diane,
Over the past few days, we've been trying to quickly adapt to support increased demand for food and other essential items.
As part of this, we've recognised the need to prioritise some customers for home delivery slots online.
You're one of the customers that we've identified for this priority service.
How have we identified vulnerable customers?
We've been able to identify you and other customers through the information that we have. This includes things like your date of birth, where we know it, and if you've ever used our vulnerable customer phone line.
But we know that we haven't been able to identify all of our vulnerable customers. We're working hard, alongside the government and retail industry, to identify more and add them to our list.
What changes have we made?
On Monday 23 March, certain online customers will get priority access to online home delivery slots as they become available, and access to Click & Collect slots.
These are customers who are over 70 years of age, vulnerable or who have a disability.
How will it work?
You can log on to our website or app on Monday to book a slot online as normal. We'll send you an email to let you know when slots are open. Be sure to book your delivery slot before the end of the day on Monday.
If you can't get one straight away, please keep trying. We'll make more slots available throughout the day where possible.
Please bear in mind that you'll be able to make a maximum of one order per week.
Delivery Pass customers
If you've got a Delivery Pass, you'll have received an email about that too. Now you're on our vulnerable customer list, you should follow the guidance in this email instead.
What to do if you need more help
Please call our dedicated vulnerable customer line on 0800 052 5500. Our Customer Care Team will be on hand to help you.
Best wishes
Clo Moriarty
Chief Digital Officer
