Good afternoon all it's been a busy old day. I was awake before the sparrows today did another huge pile of dishes. Then started to create more, fancied a cottage pie the filling is in the slow cooker. I'm just going to finish it off and then prepare the potatoes. Done another two loads of washing and am just going to do all of Brodie's winter coats and blankets. Gordon wants to do some washing so he is in charge of the machine tomorrow.
Hope you're OK Hazel, you've been missed.

Good morning everyone.
Its another lovely day here today.
We'll be off for our walk some time then sit out in the garden.
I don't think I can find anything else to wash now, so the washing machine has got a day off.
We had a delicious dinner yesterday delivered by a pub in a village just outside Bodmin. It was enormous, but we struggled through it manfully. It was just like a Christmas dinner. Yummy.

Good morning everyone.
Its another bright day here but its feeling chilly. I did pop the heating back on last night.
Another walk ... another day. Not sure if its warm enough to sit in the garden.
I can't get over how quiet and still everything is. So peaceful in amongst all this trouble.

Good afternoon all tackling my kitchen today after a mammoth cooking session. Gordon is cooking tonight so no doubt the cooker hob will need doing again tomorrow. Not complaining his stir-fries are amazing much better than mine. He's been doing his washing and putting all Brodies bedding, coats and toys on the line.
I think Hazel is busy in her garden, had an email from her the other day.

Good morning everyone.
Another beautiful day but feeling very nippy.
Decisions decisions. Shall I do the housework or leave it until another day ?? At least the house will only want a lick and a polish.

Good Morning all. A lovely day here to enjoy. Last night's dishes are awaiting me and my newly cleaned kitchen looks like a bomb has gone off. Gordon's stir fry was excellent so he is forgiven for all the mess. It will take hours to restore everything. Never mind it's not as if I have anything else to do! Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm sorry I've not been around, but it's been manic busy at home (and on Twitter with support groups and everything).
My new little freezer is so full I can't get anything else in and then realised I'll need space when my crops are due to harvest, I'm expecting a lot of runner beans. And to give most of them away will defeat the object, so ordered another little chest freezer which arrived today and is now in the hall building up to the correct temperature. I'll keep that one for meat and bread and the one in the kitchen/living room I'll keep the vegetables and fruit in as I'll probably go to that one more often. The hall one is white the living room one is black and you don't really notice it.
I managed to groom Gizmo after I spent a week hunting for the clippers. He has to be done evey 2 months or his fur gets too long and matts easily. I was dreading it. But as he's been going to the groomer now for about 4 or 5yrs he's used to it and stood there for me to clip him. Even his legs and feet and his boy bits, or where they used to be. LOL
George txt'd me today to say he'd been to his surgery this mornng to see the diabetic podiatrist. He's lucky, mine's cancelled all non urgent appointments. Mine told me even my diabetic check up has been postponed.
I've been talking to a twitter friend every day since before lockdown, she's in the same boat as me, widow, lives alone, no family. Its surprising how alike we are, must be a widow thing. We've been stocking up with food and then buying garden things. I have about 15 bags of compost, all my pots and canes, and seeds etc and so has she.
I'll be growing
Runner beans, marrow, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, spring onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and already have parsley, rosemary, thyme, mint in my herb garden.
Fruit: apples, blackcurrants gooseberries, tayberries, jostaberries, figs, pears and strawberries.
Everything I've needed like compost, canes, fabric pots, etc has come via Amazon and one or two bits direct from garden websites like the berries. A new waterbutt is on its way which will give me 3 in total. I even got some guttering for the shed to feed one of my butts, it just clips onto the roof and has a fleixible down pipe.
So I've been quite productive lately, then when I have been indoors there's the support groups on Twitter I help run, and my usual Twitter accounts like XPets and Bonnie's account. I've also been selling some things on my fairy shop but have had to charge people delivery as I send things now by courier so I dont have to go to the post office.
My chemist in the village said their list was full so I couldnt get my meds deleivered, so I registered with Pharmacy2U. What a mistake that was. I eventually got the first order, then the following month they kept telling me by email they couldnt get a response from my GP when my GP had authorised the request over a week before. So rather than go without my meds I rang my doctor and she contacted the pharmacy in the village and now they deliver them thank goodness. I cancelled my account with Pharmacy2U but they won't cancel it until I speak to them in person rather than email, and you can't get through bcause the lines are too busy. The doctors surgery said just ignore them because they're probably touting for business. They don't have a very good opinion of Pharmacy2U, infact they said they're dreadful to deal with and useless.
The gardens looking amazing now the weather has improved with flowers coming out everywhere and I noticed this morning I have roses in bud. amazing
Well thats about it for now folks, keep safe and keep smiling xxx

Good morning everyone
It cloudy but dry here today. Still feeling nippy.
Sainsburys are bringing the shopping delivery today. Only celery, 1 Semi Skimmed Milk and Daffodils missing, so not bad.

Good Morning all. After a promising sunny start to the day it has clouded over and is getting colder. I'm supposed to have a parcel delivered today but as it's only showing collected and hasn't reached the sortation department yet chances of delivery look remote. No plans as yet but a long list of todo things must start doing some of them. Doing far too much sitting down and nibbling. Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone.
Its been raining here but doesn't seem to be raining now. The weather app says thunderstorms crossed the region, but I didn't hear any.
It will be hard to stir ourselves for a walk if its wet but hopefully we'll get out sometime. Otherwise there is nothing to do, not even any washing! Oh yes .. there is one thing, hunt for next week's shopping delivery.
