The rain started just before midnight and by the look of the garden, we've had quite a lot of rain overnight. I had a good night's sleep for once. I'm feeling incredibly lazy so not sure what chore I'm going to tackle today. Probably sort out and put away my clean washing. A lot of it is stuff for the caravan so if there is room I'll get Gordon to put it in the cupboard above the airing cupboard. He won't let me go up a ladder. Have a good day all.
Update I did the washing up, sat down with a coffee and fell asleep! When I woke up Brodie and Gordon were likewise soundo. It's been one of those days. Had a phone call from the lady who took over the lunch club for me. Glad to say all members are fine, staying in seems to work as there are some very vulnerable club members.

Good morning everyone
It was wet when I woke up and the rain suddenly lashed down in a real squall, wind and hail too. Had us jumping out of bed to watch it. Now the sun is out.
Towel washing for me ... and housework ... oh ... and amending my order for tomorrow. Busy busy busy.

Good Morning all, it's quite chilly today so going to have to put the heating on as I want a shower. Going to tackle a few chores if I can, all depends on how long my back lasts. I've started a new book so wont be bored. Have a good day all.

Evening everyone.
Been busy in the garden, one of my waterbutts has a broken lid so I took it round next door and swopped my butt for hers, she's not there still and won't be coming back anytime soon if ever. So got her butt, left mine there, came back and linked it up to my other butt, which both filled overnight last night with all the rain. Also dragged out a waterbutt I had behind the shed from when I moved here, so fixed that up to the shed, but the tap's broken so ordered a new one from Amazon which came today. Will do that this week when it's dry enough.
All my seeds are coming up so they'll soon be big enough to plant out. And my wormery arrived last week, so thats all set up and the worms have settled in and busy making my compost. In 12 months they produce 100L of compost and worm tea which you use as fertiliser on your plants and houseplants. It's a stacked system, so you dont need to wait 12 months you use each tray as they process it, then put the empty one on the top. I have it indoors in the kitchen, as its not designed to go outdoors. lts a lovely looking thing. Much better than the drab and boring uk design ones. This ones French. There's about 2,000 worms in there.
Sorry to hear about your cousin Starry, I hope he doesnt suffer too much the poor man.
I've managed to get a recurring slot with Asda every 2 weeks. I dont know why I didnt do that in the beginning as now I dont have to worry about getting a slot. So the next one is 10th May. I dont spend so much that way, and I'm not really using any of my rations, as I'm saving them for emergencies.

Good morning everyone.
We've had some steady rain but its brighter now.
Sainsburys shopping being delivered today with all items I asked for, whatever that is! Then shopping hunt for slot next week. There is a Zoom meeting for carers this afternoon. I'm finding I don't want to talk now ... apart from having nothing to say!!

Good Morning all. A bit of an iffy day here, heavy rain is forecast with strong winds. Gordon cooked a delicious stir fry last night, it was gorgeous but not so struck on the huge pile of washing up. I created my bit when I did garlic mushrooms for lunch. I could have had a Tesco's delivery this afternoon as they have spaces. Thanks to the lovely Sally there was nothing we really needed. I will start making out an order, can't buy too much, as there is not a lot of room. Both freezers are full, likewise the fridge. Apparently lockdown is going to be extended for three weeks at least. Keep busy and stay safe.

Good morning and PINCH PUNCH FIRST OF THE MONTH
Its dry here, cloudy but sunny.
Now let me think what to do??? I was thinking I've got nothing to do ... but I've got a clothes wash. I'm changing our clothes a lot more than I did.

Good Morning all after a calm sunny start it is now lashing down with rain. For the second time this week, I've had a huge pile of mail. Quite a few posties are currently off sick so deliveries come when and if. I think my new summer cropped trousers have arrived and a book that I ordered for Gordon's 80th birthday. After spraying the mail it will be left for another week before being opened. Hopefully, it will then be virus-free. Last night I managed to get a delivery spot with Tesco for the 16th. I shoved a few things in to hold the space and I'll sort my list out over the next few days. Needless to say, Asda had no slots at all. I do prefer their prices but needs must. Have a good day all and stay safe!

Good morning everyone.
Its dry and reasonable here today. There are clouds around so no sun out but I can see some blue sky. Its feeling chilly
A regular day for us. Might wash hubby's heavy dressing gown ... will go for a walk and think what''s for dinner. My scales have been posted to me so my too many treat days are limited now.

Good afternoon all, the day started sunny then it clouded over and a stiff breeze came up. The breeze is constant but the sun and clouds keep changing. Had planned to eat outside, but it's too cold. It's cream teas for lunch which Gordon is doing. Going to tackle a few light cores this afternoon. Have a good day and stay safe.
