Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon a lovely sunny but chilly day here.  I did the washing up and then my back played up so have spent a lot of time sitting. Gordon had a bad night with his neck he actually got up and took his tramadol. It's left him very sleepy so we've not got much done. Lots I should be doing but can't be bothered. Have to hope tomorrow is better. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all, a lovely sunny day here to enjoy!  I've done half the washing up and got a load to towels in the wash. Gordon is doing the wiping up and will be continuing to wash the paintwork down in my hall. I'm going into the bedroom to put yet another load of washing away.   It seems never-ending lately.   Going back to the sink now for part 2.  What an interesting life I lead - NOT! Have a good day all and stay safe.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its wet and drizzling here although the forecaster said it would be like yesterday. Very grey.

Hope to get out for a walk sometime.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all, it's a beautiful sunny day here, but it was very cold this morning.  Our local weather forecast is promising very cold weather for next week, maybe even a frost. We've had a lazy morning, this afternoon Gordon will be washing down paintwork and I will still be sorting out my wardrobes. I've got some new metal 5 in 1 hangers, the plastic ones kept bending and dropping my clothes on to the base in a crumpled heap. Have a good day all and stay safe.

Re: Good Morning

Its a beautiful day here today and the window is open and I can't feel any coolness coming through.

Paul will be delivering the stuff that wasn't delivered so we'll be able to have a good chat with him across the road.

I forgot to say yesterday hubby slept in which is unusual for him. But I crept out of bed and had breakfast, a few cups of tea and a read of the paper online before he woke up. I was thinking he could be ill and need me .... but I'll go up in a minute .... so had a delightful hour to myself in peace and quiet. Delicious.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its bright outside but feeling cooler coming through the window.

I've got to weigh for tomorrow's slimming world class.

It will be interesting what Boris says tonight. But it doesn't really matter what he says as nothing has changed. Hope there are no questions afterwards

Re: Good Morning

Good Morning all had a very bad night with Brodie, he was panting and very restless. Had to put the fan on cool him down.  This morning I have to clip him, I'm not looking forward to as he doesn't do grooming! He normally goes to the vet and is put out. It's not an emergency so I've got to do it. The vet has given me some diazepam to calm him down, perhaps I should take them as well as I'm dreading it. - I've got some old clippers and several pairs of scissors ready. Gordon isn't going to be much help as he's in pain, as am I, but needs must. He doesn't like restraining Brodie in case he hurts him. Last time he restrained him he let go and I very nearly got bitten.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning all, sorry for my abscence but been very busy, I've had orders from my online shop to fulfill, gardening to do, organising my friend Heather's Twitter service for Tuesday, and tonight it's XPets adventure, so had a full on week.

I'd sold my portable air con unit a couple of months back and was saving it for something I really needed, so I've bought a hotbin composter. It produces compost from kitchen (veg trimmings/cooked leftovers) and garden waste, plus paper and cardboard in 30 to 90 days. I've ordered the mini version which is for 1-2 people. With garden waste being collected by the council in question, and the price of commercial compost shooting thru the roof, I thought it more sensible to produce my own. I've got my wormery in the kitchen but they only produce compost about every 2 or 3 months, so it's a slow job but they're working well bless them. And I can't put garden waste in the wormery as it's not big enough, so it's only any good for a small amount of kitchen waste really.

Here's the link to the hotbin - https://www.hotbincomposting.com/compost-bins/hotbin-mini.html

and the link to my wormery (mines the green one) - https://recyworm.com/?lang=en

My strawberry plants have arrived so the strawberry planter is all planted, and I managed to find a wooden trolley to stand it on so I can rotate it. The planter holds 35 plants. They're looking really healthy.

Hope the pic shows up.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its still windy here and feeling very chilly but its bright.  I'm off to put the heating on for a bit to warm the house up.

Its the Zoom slimming class this morning. Then we'll fit a walk in then I might make some saffron buns as my treat this week.

You are sounding busy Hazel.
