Re: Good Morning

morning all
Taking a break from finishing off 2 more mask orders. Miserable weather here too, deciding what to cook for dinner tonight.

Take care everyone and enjoy your day.

Re: Good Morning

Good evening all, we've had bright sunshine all day but the wind is very strong and has kept it nice and cool. We've done a couple of jobs we wanted to do but sadly my knee has not been good and is very painful and I can now barely stand. We've heard from Scotts and the conditions to which we must adhere when we go down. If we go into the village we must wear masks and keep to  6' social distancing. We're thinking of just coming down for short visits of three days only and remain in social isolation whilst we're there. This will probably be the last year that we go down.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry here at the moment but quite windy outside.

I've got my Slimming World Zoom class to have to report half a pound on. I jumped on the scales expectantly and was surprised to see a gain. Hey ho. We'll try and fit a walk in. We set off yesterday and it started spitting so did a quick whizz round the block before it started more heavily. Then as soon as we got indoors puffing and panting it stopped.

Re: Good Morning

Good afternoon all. We have very strong winds today and it's very cold outside.  My shopping lady has delivered my shopping and we've bleached the chilled foods and will shortly start on the cans. I know there is little risk but prefer to err on the side of caution. I'll be glad to finish it as I've some washing that I want put away. That's if my knee will let me. must crack the whip and get his nibbs moving.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its wet and grey here today.

I've already had a message from Paul saying he will be coming over with Maya and Lola, so that will be nice. We are getting back to seeing them.

Its almost a waste of time coming on to post here - no disrespect to members meant. It might be time to call it a day

Re: Good Morning

Good morning all, miserable day here, rain and grey skies.

I've been up to my neck in orders the last couple of weeks with masks, as soon as I see light at the end of the tunnel another load comes in. Still the extra money is helpful. Although my dear old machine died last week, after 30yrs, so I had to buy a new one. Same brand, updated model, and a lot more money than I paid for the original one *sigh*

Good to see you're all safe and well. Any pics of Freddie Starry? Carol hope your feeling a bit better today. Diane, it'll be super to see Paul and the girls again, it must seem like ages since you saw them last. It'll be difficult to make them understand they can't cuddle granny and granpa though. Bless them.

Diane you don't have to come on here. I closed down our other forum as it wasn't worth paying for the domain and hosting for just a few people, and moved here to this one, which is free. I agree there's only a handful of us now, but that's because everyone goes on Facebook instead. Thats what killed forums.

I did post up some topics for people to discuss but no-one bothers, so I stopped doing it. But I've posted 2 topics this morning to see if it can rouse any interest.

Re: Good Morning

What a good idea Starry. I used to be a Brownie, Mum put my badges on to my uniform.  When I went to grammar school I didn't any time to go to guides so I had to pack it up - too much homework. No idea what happened to my uniform.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its dry here at the moment but looking very grey and dismal outside.

We'll be doing the housework and some washing.

If I don't pop in every day don't worry, I'll be in when I can

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone, it's lovely and warm out, been down to the post office at Lanivet already to post off a return parcel to Amazon. First time I've been in a shop since before March.

I joined the Brownies but got thrown out. I told my mother all we did was dance round a wooden mushroom and tying knots in bits of string, she said she was glad she hadn't invested in a uniform and thought I probably wouldnt have stuck it out even if I hadn't been asked to leave.  I was only a little tacker at the time.

More orders in today for masks, got 2 to make from yesterdays orders then I'm clear so can start these new ones this afternoon. I'll need to employ home machinists soon it's becoming a full time job. The lady in the Post Office commented on my mask and said how pretty it was and that it didnt steam up my glasses, so I mentioned I made them in 2 standards FFP1 and FFP2/N95 so she asked for my website address. Gawd. More orders on the way LOL

Keep safe all.

Re: Good Morning

Good morning everyone.

Its damp and grey here today but I don't think its actually raining at the moment.

There is nothing to do today. I would like to try to get a walk in some time.
