Evening all, I've surfaced from the hobby room for the day. Sorry I'm not on here much, but I'm inundated with orders for my masks, word has spread and people are coming back to buy more and recommending them so instead of selling one or two per order they're now ordering half a dozen at a time. Just as well I had to buy a new sewing machine, I reckon this one will be worn out soon.

Gizmo is now on steroids, the specialist saw his xrays and agreed with my vet that palliative care was the way to go. He can't have surgery due to his heart, and removing the tumour would mean removing all his thigh muscle. Poor little chap. At the moment he's like a dog on crack, wide eyed, hyper and hungry. lol

Just going to read thru to see what I've missed then heading for my bed.

Hello everyone.

Its cloudy here but been dry apart from spits in the wind.

We've been busy houseworking so that's done for a week now.

A nice rest this afternoon.

Actually ... I've just realised that hubby has been reasonably 'nice' ... he usually gets very worked up with cleaning . Great stuff.

Yesterday our stand in window cleaner called but we were out on our walk so only got the front done. Last time they were around I hung about all the time they were here thinking they would call and they didn't. This time, I thought we are ready for our walk, so we'll go ... and sods law, they called.

Evening all, just dropping by to check everyone's ok. Been up to my neck with orders for masks. Trying to keep up with them, but always seem to have half a dozen behind all the time. Still I mustn't moan.

Afternoon all, having some lunch. Waiting on DPD coming to collect the mower to go for its annual service and a new wheel, but no sign of them and no text to say they're coming, even tho Flymo/Husqvarna rang wednesday to say it would be collected today. I hope they turn up, for 2 reasons, it will be away for 10 working days so the grass will be growing like mad til then, and secondly I need to get to the post office to post a parcel to someone in New York (a fairy doll) and loads of masks that are ready to go but too large a package to go in the post box.

I did email Flymo checking DPD were still coming but not had a reply and can't phone them as they shut down their customer support phone lines at lockdown.

It's a gorgeous day here, really warm, must be about 22C here or more but not been out to check the garden thermometers yet

Good afternoon it would be very hot here but we still have a strong wind. My knee at long last is improving so feeling a bit brighter. I'm trying to summon up the energy to wash the dishes. Gordon is playing endless games on his computer or going to sleep. He has a list of chores to tackle but can't be bothered. I'm getting fed up asking him to do things. I've bought a load of white vinegar to feed the weeds. it is supposed to be a good weed killer. Gordon said he would do it but............ Hope everyone is well and staying away the virus.

Good afternoon all. Lovely and sunny here with a strong wind which is keeping it cool. Nice and quiet here Gordon is sleeping in his chair, Brodie is stretched out on his bed soundo. I've just sorted out one of the corner units in the kitchen. Right at the back I found a full bottle of brandy it must have been there for a few years. Didn't have any more surprises or any shocks. Gordon has just woken up and is a good mood so he's doing the chores that he should have done this morning. The Grand Prix is on this evening so he'll be watching that. I'll probably go and sit in the bed and read my book, can't stand motor racing. Once his nibbs has seen his programme I shall be putting on a horror film and he'll no doubt go to sleep in his chair..

Its a bright, breezy day here today.

just the washing machine disconnection and get it collected and I can clean up the hole.

Afternoon all the rain is finally clearing and it's nice and cool. I've got a delivery of two watering cans One for watering and feeding and the other for weed killer. I ordered it yesterday and being delivered between 2 and 6. I woke up with a very sore tooth so flossed with no results and resorted to a tooth pick. I was going to do a hot salt water rinse but didn't have any salt. So had to make do with a neat brandy. Arrrrrrr! Gordon needs to go back to his flat with somethings and hopefully will bring back some salt. Hopefully it will settle down, if not I will have to check with my dentist for advice.

Evening all a busy day for us had to washup last night's dishes and clear the work surfaces prior to Sally delivering my shopping. It was a bit of a rush as she was early and it was a big shop. It took ages to spray it all with a dettol spray. Thankfully Gordon put it all away and cooked our evening meal. I'll wash up tomorrow can barely stand tonight. I will be having another early night and no doubt like last night fall asleep whilst reading. It's strange to wake up to the light on and my book in my hands. Have a good night all.

Its a bright but chilly day here.

We've got the washing machine being delivered today. Not sure what time so will have to hang about until it arrives.
